Tiara is a Ster graded KWPN mare, she has also been graded into the Main Studbook of the Oldenburg Verband, which means that both KWPN and Oldenburg stallions can be used on her, and her foals will all get full KWPN or Oldenburg papers as applicable. She was imported from Holland as a 4 year old.
Tiara’s sire is Metall (www.elitedressagestallions.co.uk/stallions-metall.htm) Champion of his Stallion Licensing, sire of many Champion mares and KWPN Graded Stallions. Her dam is a Ster graded mare by the Trakehner stallion Balzflug, who was Dutch National Champion and sire of several KWPN Graded Stallions.
Tiara has had 3 foals to date. Her first foal is Zangaro ('Bertie'), a bay colt sired by San Remo, who was sold to a professional dressage rider from Lincolnshire. Bertie has just been backed and is doing extremely well in his training already. Tiara's second foal is Bambi, a black/brown filly by Sandro Hit, and her third foal is Tia, a bay filly by Lingh. Both her fillies have been sold to the same professional dressage rider from Kent who loved Bambi so much she had to have her younger sister too!
Tiara has now started ridden work. She is highly intelligent (a bit too
intelligent sometimes!!), and has found everything asked of her extremely
easy so far, so we are hoping she will progress well with her training.
Tiara is the alpha mare of the group, and keeps them all firmly in line!
