IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR COMPETITORS

30 May and  25 July

Some of the following showing classes are qualifiers for the Championships of a showing society – these classes are open for entries from both non-members and members of the showing society the class is a qualifier for.

Holt Farm will award the winner of each class a trophy and rosettes from 1st -10th place, and the 1st and 2nd placed in each class will qualify for the Holt Farm Champion Class for that ring, to be held after the last class in that ring finishes. Holt Farm will award a trophy and rosette to both the winner and reserve of the Holt Farm Championship Classes. Ring 6 is the exception – see ring details.

In addition, where a class is a qualifier for a showing society, the highest placed competitors who are members of that showing society will qualify for the Championships of that showing society. Details of membership and qualification/championship requirements of the societies are set out below.

Where a class is a showing society qualifier, the judge of that class will be an approved judge of that showing society, and will be named below. The class will be run under the rules of the showing society it is a qualifier for.

Due to the entry requirements for some classes, all competitors must bring their horses’ passports with them and have them ready for inspection by the judge. Members of showing societies also need to have their proof of membership and any qualification cards/items with them and ready for inspection by the judge.

Any enquiries relating to the showing societies or their requirements should be addressed to the relevant society, contact details below. Please note that it is the competitor's responsibility to ensure that they fulfil all requirements of the showing societies, any queries on the day should be addressed to the judge of the class. The Show Secretary is not able to intervene in showing society matters.
